Come to My House?!

My son has been begging his cousins to come and stay with him at HIS HOUSE for quite awhile now. Last weekend, they did! Here's some pictures of them being cute and cuddly and unexpected! :o)

Bushes Go Bye-Bye

My hubby enjoys using his new truck to yank out some nasty bushes in front of the house! We are so happy to have them gone! And it was fun for him to do and fun for me to watch!

It seems like all I post these days are pictures... but I am just going to do it again because I am too tired to think about thoughts... so here are some fun pictures for you to enjoy!
These are pictures of the base cabinets getting installed. One step closer!

New Blog

I am starting a new blog. I am keeping this one, just starting a second. This new blog is going to be strictly for me to use for deeper, more meaningful discussions. I am going to begin by studying The Wife of Noble Character in Proverbs 31 and I will post my thoughts on this new website. If you would like to participate in this discussion with me, please visit me on my new blog site...

Hope to see you there!

My Family

You can be in prayer for my family, both immediate and extended.

I am thankful for my tremendously loving parents who care so much for each and every one of their children. I am thankful for my oldest brother, M, who is so brave and is very loved by his parents and siblings. I am thankful for my sister, E, who is a defender and encourager. She leads and I want to follow. I am thankful for my other M brother, who is crazy, but funny, and sincerely loving at just the right times. I am thankful for my sister, L, who is a tough-cookie, but sweet. She also knows how to make me laugh...a lot. I am thankful for my brother, P, who is like the smartest person I know. He amazes me daily and his willingness to stand up for our country is extremely honorable. I am thinking about my family tonight and that fills me with joy.

"I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, and of the son of man who is made like grass; that you have forgotten the Lord your maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; that you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppresor, as he makes ready to destroy? But where is the fury of the opressor? The exile will soon be set free, and will not die in the dungeon, nor will his bread be lacking. For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea and its waves roar (the Lord of hosts is his name). And I have put my words in your mouth, and have covered you with the shadow of my hand, to establish the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, you are my people." Isaiah 51:12-16

It's Been A Hard Day's Night... and I've Been Working Like A Dog...

So, I am trying to get my Creative Memories business up and running here in Idaho. And I mean business--not just being a hobbyist anymore--this thing needs to make us some money! I have been schedule as much as I can, investing in business and office supplies in order to do more kinds of events and advertising.
I am scheduled to participate in a Holiday Bazaar in early November and I am hosting a Holiday Open House at my home after Thanksgiving. We are just incredibly busy making displays and stuff for my booths. I just haven't had time for blogging! Hopefully things will settle down soon. A lot of what I am working on is one-time stuff and then I can just reuse it after that.
The cousins/nephews came over last night and slept over. They have been having a great time. I'll post pictures of the cuties soon.

Blueberries for Sal

We are reading Blueberries for Sal this week.
Here we are picking our own "blueberries" and putting them into a "pail".
We counted them as we went and then we gave them to Cooper to eat. :)
