We are packing like crazy. Mom stayed for the week to help out. I don't know what we would have done without her. I was able to feel like I was accomplishing something at home even though I was at school-teaching. I am so thankful for her help. I am also thankful for the help of friends. We have some people helping us out tomorrow as well as next Saturday. We are taking our stuff to storage on April 7th. After that, we will be living very simply for the next two months. Sometime during the following week we will transition over to the studio apartment four blocks away. My BIL is coming to help out next Saturday-Wednesday. That will be really good!
It's hard to pack. There are so many things that I can't decide what to do with... Keep it? Sell it? Toss it? We will really need to downsize because our next house is a lot smaller than this one... so I just keep that in mind when making decisions. It will be like starting over from scratch! We are having yard sales on Friday and Saturday. Hopefully everything will sell! I guess what doesn't sell will go to the thrift store in town...
I guess I'll go back to it...

Sob
I can't stop crying. I have been crying constantly lately. Not sure if it's the play being almost over, my moving out of this house, my boy getting so big, my hormones, or all of the above... but everything is making me weep. And I can't put my finger on any one thing in the moment as a cause... not to mention I am just plain exhausted. This week is "H-E-Double-Hockey-Stix Week" according to stage terminology... the week of a show is long hours, lots to do and plenty of emotions... One week from today, I will be back to normal existence, whatever that is.

Expecting
Well...
Here's what are 2nd child probably looks like:
Though I am sure that mine is much cuter than this. Yes, that's right, we are expecting our second child at the end of October. The due date is October 30. C will be 3 1/2 years old. The due date is actually exactly 3 1/2 years from his the day he was born. We found out in February, and recently made it public to our close friends and family members. We are telling our church this Sunday. It makes the move even more bittersweet for us, but it's time. We are ready to continue with our little family and I especially have been wanting to have another for quite some time now. I told C yesterday that I was having a baby. He said, "Mom, no, you're a grirrrl [girl!]." I said, "I know, but I am having a baby!" and he said again, "Mom! You're a girirrrl!!!!" Oh well. We'll try explaining it again, later.

Quote of the Day
The longer I live the more I realize that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it.
