Well... I haven't really been in the mood to write lately. Hence the missing hunting blog that was promised. At this point, unfortunately all the funny stories that Mr. Oz came home telling me after each class are long gone from my memory. Let's just say that the man who taught the class was in his 70s and was quite hilarious in how he went about instructing the 10-30 year olds how to shoot, gun safety, animal info, etc. We've been inundated with "fun facts" for the past month and a half every time we go outside. Mr. Oz definitely enjoyed the class and learned a lot. And now he can go shoot whenever and wherever (in Idaho) he wants!
In other news...
Mr. Oz's job is back in full-swing. We hope. This season he has been put back on the maintenance crew (not happy about that) but at least he still has a job and gets ~40 hours a week. He will begin a second job this week. He has been training to sell work for a Butler DryCleaning Service. Basically it's sales, door-to-door. But you get paid for every contract you sign someone for... so it's quick cash. (Lord willing!) So, he'll be gone for a couple hours after work, twice a week for the next few weeks, seeing if the whole thing works out.
Spiderman has been enjoying the coming warmer weather. He has had a few days outside in the backyard with Cooper and we have been back to our beloved Duck Pond once already! I recently purchased a double stroller at Goodwill for outings with both boys. I am looking forward to using it more and more, and hopefully losing some weight in the process! We have had several playdates planned but haven't done them yet due to sickness. Seems like a respitory bug is going around, hitting members of our church.
Baby had his 2-month shots at a local clinic. It was not too much fun, especially for baby, but also sad for big brother. He didn't like seeing his baby so sad! Glad we don't have to do that again for another two months.
Here are some pictures of a recent pre-school activity that Mr. Oz did with Spiderman.
