Sunny Days

Things are looking "up!" I have been starting to feel better the past few days. Tummy is doing better and I am able to move about, get some chores done, I even cooked dinner last night! So yay for me, and definitely a yay for my Hubby!

Yesterday I enjoyed a day with my sister, nephews and son at a house in the foothills that belongs to some members of our church. We were invited over to swim in their pool, eat lunch and discuss music for future workship services that I will play piano for and my sis will play guitar. It was a very enjoyable day and a nice change from our former routine.

This weekend I head to SLC... so talk to you next week.

UPDATE: I am leaving my typo of "workship" there because it made Kate laugh. Otherwise, I would fix it because I am annoyed when I make mistakes. Oh well.

Sick & Tired of Being Sick & Tired

So there's not much to say from me this month... I spend a lot of time in bed/on the couch. I have experimented with different activities, times, schedules, but nothing is really 100% effective for a comfortable day. Basically the best thing is to eat something and then promptly resume a horizontal position. Any kind of physical activity makes me ill. So, life is boring for both myself and my son. He's not to interested in his mommy lying around all day. He wants to do stuff and so do I, but I just can't at the moment. I can handle one event a day, tops. Most of the time it's a trip to the library.
Hubby is working hard at his new job. He likes it. They like him. Things are going well and we are happy. Hopefully this feeling will last. I think it just might.
Next weekend, if my health improves, I will be going to visit these friends and attend my niece's performance(s) at the SLC Feis. My sister, niece and some of their friends will be driving down together and I am tagging along. PP and Hubby will stay here and bond.
When get back from that trip I will have my next dr. appointment. Hopefully things will be going smoothly and we'll get good news. I am sure the round of testing that's done at the beginning will happen as well. I am curious to see if I have actually LOST weight with all this craziness. I remember losing around 7 lbs with PP. On Saturday I am officially beginning my second trimester. One down, two to go!

Exhaustion

So, I haven't been spending as much time in front of the computer. I have been spending most of time on the couch or in bed. Poor PP has been bored out of his mind. When Daddy is home, he is able to get some energy out, but our days are long and frustrating. I am looking forward to the time when I will get my energy back and won't feel so blah. I do the best when I am lying down, as opposed to sitting or standing... so I do play Candyland from the couch and read to him occasionally... but he is definitely ready for Mommy to start taking him to the park and the pond again. And I know I would enjoy taking more walks and enjoying being outside again. Hubby is switching jobs today. He plans on accepting an offer in the next few minutes, he's choosing between two companies, so I don't actually know which one it will be yet... but it's similar to his last job. He'll still be doing Lawn and Tree service (applicator) but these other companies also do maintenance and landscape, so hopefully there will be more opportunities there. We would love prayer for decision-making, as we have a lot of that to do!

I am working steadily at trying to get more voice and piano students. I have reached 6 or 7 but my goal is 15. One of the students, starting in September, may do both--so that would mean another time slot taken! If you're local, and reading this, please pass my name on to your friends for private lessons!

More to come...
