Starting to Walk

This is kind of a "sad" video due to the fact that I couldn't get the shot to be far enough away from him... and his desire to always been touching me at all times... but at least at one point you can see that he is taking steps. Up to four or five at a time. And he's very adventurous, speedy when crawling, and interested in all kinds of things he shouldn't. Notice at the end he is playing with a package of cabinet locks that NEED to be installed! Ha!

Walking???

I have a feeling that our little Baby is going to be walking by the end of the week. He's cruising around the furniture and today he started taking the few steps between items, solo!!!

He's very proud of himself!

Baby Shaw Update

He's growing!!!

In the last two weeks Baby has reached some milestones and we are loving every minute of it! He is eating solid foods... even loves to eat Cheerios, tho he needs help with that! He is holding his own bottle when drinking. He began scooting around the room on his little belly, and just last night crawled for the first time. He can pull himself up to a standing position while holding onto something or someone (we lowered the crib mattress!!!). He is saying "dadada" and "bababa" which we have decided is "Dad" and "Brother" and he sure does know his Mama (even if he can't say it). I love when he reaches for me and quiets down. It's nice being the one that soothes his little heart. :)

Baby Talk

(Sorry this is so dark... it was night-time and Spiderman was watching "The Silver Chair" in the background so the lights were turned down low... at least you can get an idea of Baby's talking with his Daddy. This is probably our favorite thing to do right now--talk to the baby!)
