Read this if you don't mind complaining.

Okay, so the question was posed: "why the heck is life depressing?" So, I feel compelled to answer.

1) I am less than three months pregnant, hence I toss my cookies daily, sometimes more than once daily. I don't enjoy food anymore and I am tired all the time.
2) I miss my cute little Vance house. It was so cute.
3) I hate my new apartment. It's not cute.
4) I don't have heat.
5) I don't have a bathroom. It's broken.
6) The electricity is bad and you can't run more than one appliance in the same outlet at once. You have to decide: space heater or coffee???
7) The basement (where the apartment is located) smells like sewer.
8) Everything that I need to find appears to be in storage currently.
9) Due to the electricity, I can't blow dry or curl my hair.
10) The ceiling leaks because of a problem in the apartment's bathroom above us. It rained at 4:30 a.m. and then again at 6:30 a.m. in our "kitchen", which is directly across from our bed.
11) C has the stomach flu and a fever. He is miserable, too.
12) I have to move away in June and that makes me sad.

I can't think of anything else right now, which is good, but there's probably more I could say.
Sigh.

Maybe tomorrow I'll post happiness.

Man! You have a right to complain! Those are awful things to have to go through. I really wish I could be there to help you out. Just know that I miss you and love you very much.

Nat, I have one solution to your problems---

Take 1/2 a Unisom (the sleep aid---get the tabs) at night before going to bed. My doctor in ID prescribed it to me (you can get it over the counter) and I had severe throw up issues. If I missed the Unisom I had a terrible day of throwing up. If I took it, I felt great and NEVER threw up. It is safe to take while pregnant (at least that is what my doc told me---and it did nothing to my little girl!). I told my friend about it in ID and she was always sick like me and she never threw up again either unless she missed a dose at night. She said if she forgot she "paid for it the next day."

My doc also said to take the b-12 vitamin in addition to the pill, but I was so bad off I just couldn't take vitamins, it made me worse. The doc said I was fine to not take them, but the Unisom only if need be.

No one ever listens to me (except my above friend) about this but thinks that it will be harmful for the baby and pills and stuff are bad, but I suggest you give it a try. Take it from someone who threw up constantly and LOST weight while pregnant because she could keep nothing down.

Sorry about the other stuff. That's the pits. Give your cares to God--when you worry or get upset, pray.

I do mind complaining, but I read it anyway. ;) I'm praying for you guys, I can understand how difficult this time must be for you especially.
