All Saints

This morning we will be attending the PCA church in Boise, All Saints Church. We have really enjoyed going here so far. The worship service is just what I am looking for. They have really nice music choices and they use multiple accompanying instruments. The service order includes responsive readings, prayer, and singing. We also take communion every week, which I am starting to really love doing; I have never done that before. The pastor's sermons are really helpful to me and I think that he is a very friendly and welcoming man. We haven't met too many people yet, but it's summer and no one is in their schedules yet. We see new people each week. We signed up for Sunday School this fall and some other activities. They have a choir for little people, we'll see how C does with that! :)
Here's their website. All Saints

So how is it living in the new house? I'm glad to know you found a church that you like so much. it makes a huge difference. how far is the drive?

unfortunately the drive is kinda long... 30+minutes (depending on traffic on 84) but it's really the only church around the Treasure Valley that we have the desire to go to, so we are going to put up with the drive. i love my new house. it's cluttered with junk and boxes right now, but it's home.

Looks great! Bummer about the drive... but that's life in the big city. Or well, in the not so big city. You know what I mean.

Do they explain *why* they do communion every week? Just curious. Seeing more of that in Reformed circles... ??

i can't find anything on their website that says it exactly, but they mention being connected to the church as a whole in worship worshipping God through the sacraments... I am curious to find out more.
