She should totally have a blog where she gives advice about day-to-day life! Oh, wait! She does!
So... the day after I signed my contract to work at Foundations Academy in Garden City, ID, I found out that I lost my spot at the West YMCA for childcare... So, of course, knowing me, I panicked [commercial break: Hubby and I just argued about how to spell that word. He was right. I was wrong. I thought it was paniced, but there was confusion due to my pronouncing it outloud as "paneese". Huh. Go figure.]! ANYWAY!
So I was paniCKed and thought, oh great! Now I am going to have to call the school and say, sorry folks, can't do it because I have a 3 year old son and Idaho doesn't have any pre-schools that work for us. Something about only having pre-schools for special needs kids, or something... Anyway. I called my big sister looking for some advice (between you and me, it was to vent!) and she said: "knock it off [this is word for word, btw] how do you know that the person that ends up watching [the little boy] isn't praying right now for someone to watch? Maybe it will be an even better situation! So quit whining! [I don't think she said that last part, I am just elaborating].
SHE WAS RIGHT.
A girl named Naomi has been praying for more children to join her home day-care. She's a Christian. She currently has boys in her day-care (great for my little boy!) and she costs way less than the Y! Praise God! We are really excited to see how this situation works out... I'll keep you posted!
