We are moving.
On Thursday it became apparent that due to my signing my intention form for RTCS (they were sent out early this year!) that I would NOT be returning to teach next year, and that this fact would be announced at the board of director's meeting on Monday night; I needed to make my plans known to my little world. I informed my students during a tearful end of rehearsal that evening. I feel bad for my students--they are so sad. I am thankful for our relationships and that they will miss me so much. I will miss them tremendously! Our church was informed this morning--so now I am telling you, my faithful readers.
We are moving to the Nampa/Caldwell area of Idaho (near Boise). My sister lives there with her family and we are really looking foward to being nearby!
Items for prayer:
1. the sale of our house (it's going on the market in February)
2. the purchase of a new house (we are going to be looking to do this in February)
3. hubby's job hunt (and current job situation here!)
4. logistics of moving (when, how, etc.)
5. emotions and goodbyes (telling people, missing them, no regrets)
6. continued time here in Pittsburgh will go well (we aren't gone yet!)
We plan to move this summer. The exact time of departure is still up in the air, but no sooner than June 9, 2007.
We will miss our friends and family! Love you.

Congratulations. I was wondering when you would fess up.
Now I definitely have to start a blog so that we stay in contact. Knowing that you will be moving down South makes me quite sad, even though we hardly ever see each other. Are you still going to visit PA? What a huge loss for RTCS! No wonder there were tears. I have tears!
